Students
from Umingan Central National High School bagged the Championship in the
recently concluded Batang Pinoy National Championship, a sports competition
held in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental on January 28 to February 1, 2014.
These students from UCNHS are qualified for the International Youth Game –
Volleyball Tournament , 15 years and below, which will be held in Los Angeles,
California sometime on June or July of this year. The players will be sponsored
by Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) and Philippine Olympic Committee (POC). Preparations and documentary requirements are
now being processed for their international stint.
