Negokarts Awarded

Last Friday, August 15, 2014, Mayor Eldred P. Tumbocon, Rep. Marlyn L. Primicias – Agabas and Director Grace Y. Ursua, Regional Director of the Department of Labor & Employment awarded Negokarts to sixty six (66) beneficiaries. The awarding was held at the Municipal Lobby graced by other DOLE Officials and LGU Umingan employees.

Our town Umingan was chosen to benefit from the livelihood program because of its good and clean record at the Department of Labor & Employment.

Free Eye Check-Up and Reading Glasses

The Local Government Unit of Umingan headed by its Local Chief Executive, Mayor Eldred P. Tumbocon, in partnership with Pangasinan East Eye Center headed by Dr. Sheryl de Jesus, conducted a free eye check up on August 13 & 15, 2014 at the covered auditorium.  Residents from our fifty eight barangays crowded the area (mostly senior citizens), fell in line and waited for their turn. A total number of 611 patients were served and given free reading glasses.
