The Department of Agriculture (DA)through
Regional Field Office grant Plant Now Pay Later (PNPL) Scheme in
Umingan,Pangasinan.The hybrid rice varieties
Arize and SL8 were released in different Barangays .The hybrid
seeds,partial six hundred (600) kilograms, were delivered last April 30,2015. Farmers
received twenty(20) kilos of hybrid rice and one(1) kilo of zinc sulfate for
every one(1) hectare.This PNPL was earlier relayed to farmers during the Rice
Crop manager(RCM) interview conducted by Agricultural Technician.
