Oath-Taking of the Newly Elected Municipal Officials for 2010-2013
June 30, 2010 marks another milestone in the political history of Umingan. On this day, the Honorable Mayor Eldred P. Tumbocon, CE-GE, together with Vice Mayor-elect Alain P. Rabang and the other winning officials took an oath and pledged for another three years of unwavering commitment and dedicated service to the townspeople of Umingan.
The ceremony started with an early morning mass officiated by Rev. Fr. Jessie S. Prado at the Municipal Hall Grounds and followed by the blessing of two (2) new units of ambulance. One of which was acquired during the 2007-2010 administration of Mayor Eldred P. Tumbocon and Vice Mayor Alain P. Rabang and the other unit was donated by the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO). These ambulances truly will be of great help to the LGU in providing immediate medical service to the people of Umingan.
The oath-taking ceremony was conducted by Municipal Judge Plotinus T. Sanchez to the following elected officials: Mayor Eldred P. Tumbocon, Vice Mayor Alain P. Rabang, SB Members Fred A. Fernandez, Neil B. Andaya, Lisandro C. Gonzales, Emil Tristan T. Trinidad, Troy P. Rabang, John D. Advincula, Welly B. Navalta and Mario L. Sonaco. The event was attended by Board Member Alfonso C. Bince Jr., families and friends of the elected officials, the Department of Education, municipal employees and other guests. The guests were entertained by the Umingan National High School’s Tribu Ramabak dancers, who won as daily winner in ABS-CBN’s Showtime and performed last June 12, 2010 for the weekly finals. The ceremony was culminated by a luncheon celebration at the SB mezzanine hall.
Again, to the newly-elected Municipal Officials, congratulations and continue serving the people of Umingan!
